After a horrible experience of moving house ourselves last time we chose to use a removals company this time! I spent several weeks sending off emails to various companies to request quotes and availability. Braithwaites were the only ones who contacted me back, so straight away I knew they were reliable. Ben came to our house a few days later to work out the quote and we received the quotation within the hour. Ben kindly contacted me when he had other interest in the same date and so we chose to book just before our contracts had been exchanged.

I must admit I was a little apprehensive the day before our move as I was worried something would go wrong, but on the day at 8am as promised the 2 lads with their van arrived very promptly and got straight to work. All our belongings were in the van in what felt like less than 2 hours. They left us to it and asked us to call when we had the keys to our new house.

They arrived about an hour after we arrived at the new house, and again they got straight to work and had the van unloaded with all the boxes in their rooms within no time at all! This company is reliable, friendly and professional. The guys who moved us on the day worked so hard, they were friendly and polite. We can't fault them at all and should we ever move again we will definitely use Braithwaites.

We ordered a King size bed from the discount furniture warehouse in Blackpool and Ben and Jay from Braithwaite's delivered the bed. They were so professional and polite.
